Re: Somali spot degenerates
I am definitely not in the qarxiis business but people behind Somalispot deserve it after what they did.
They created a whole website aimed at humiliating and defaming Somalis. Their website caters strictly to Islam-Hater, Faggots, Somali-bashing trolls, Retards who cannot talk about anything usefull other Women Vs Men bravado,. ''Let me puff out my Gender Ego''. They cater to the lowest common denominator of Somali society.
But you will see idiots who believe in their lies and taken by their forced western concept "freedom speech" and anti-authoritarian mumbojumbo. There is no such thing ,its all a rogue for somali haters, trolls, anti-islamic atheists, hood wannabes to post their vitriol ,dissent and blasphemy unchecked and protected. But for us the average joe Somali who are neither of those things we need be checked and banned if we dare say anything that collides with the interests & the agenda of the site.
I dont care for who the individuals are personally in real life but the existence of that website is a liabillity.

Lool Duchess is shook. She's crying all over the forum. She is claiming that she had nothing to do with the story which sounds like pure bullshit to me.

Now she is trying to act like a victim. saying ''Forget the massively evil shit i did ''look at me look at me. Why doesnt anyone care about me, ?'' Maybe because you are a massive douche hiding behind Abdi Johnson.Raganimo wrote:Lool Duchess is shook. She's crying all over the forum. Everyone needs to know who was responsible for this, including Ilhan Omar. This is just to ensure the person behind it is apprehended and made accountable for this illegal activity.
After what she did to Ilhan Omar and how she gave amo to the white supremacist right wing media like Breitbart , Pamela Geller and Fox News to insult the Somali community. How she possibly destroyed many lives and families. Alot of innocent people can be adversely affected by this especially children.
Think about the possible rammifications this would have for the Somali community
Now i don't agree with Ilhan Omars politics but i would never have done that. Imagine how this can be interpreted? next thing you know people will make the claim that we as a Somali people in general sabotage our own and prevent people within our community from being successful.
Now add this to all the Anti-Somali , Islamophobia that recks from the western media ,instead of what could have been a positive news and success story that could negate all the dissent aimed at us .
Re: Somali spot degenerates
Guys, Ayan Bihi girl is not Duchess. I am 100% sure on this. Due to Ayan's age, she most likely came to the west when she was few years old. She grew up in Canada, and due to her involvement in the music industry in Montreal as that report shows, I doubt she is even interested in knowing politics in Minneapolis, MN. The majority of the kids who were born or grew up in the west are Somalis in name and looks only, but everything else about them is western. They are not interested in some of the things that the older generation is interested in.
Besides, if Duchess stated she is not involved in this story, why are you guys accusing her? You know it is a major sin to accuse a fellow Muslim sister when you had no evidence? I think people need to separate cyberspace grudges from accusing someone on some serious crime when there is no evidence.
My personal advice to everyone is, give this story a rest. Ilhan didn't give us a permission to toss her name around, and there is no evidence Duchess is involved, so I am not sure why do people even want to speculate it.

Re: Somali spot degenerates
This is much bigger than Ilhan Omar. These rumors whether true or not true has hurt and will continue to damage the Somali community for decades to come. Everyone involved in this should be ashamed of themselves. I am sad and disgusted about what happened.
Re: Somali spot degenerates
For someone like Duchess who spends the majority of her days browsing some online forum and hating on people who are actually doing something productive with their lives - claiming she's Ayan Bihi or Queen Buuq would be giving her more credit than she deserves.
THIS is probably a better representation for a loser like Duchess:

Feel sorry for Ilhan, I never expected Somalis can go that low to take one of theirs down.

Can someone pm me a summary of this train wreck please?

Race for Minn. House seat will have a Somali-American winner

Look for history to be made in the race for a Minneapolis seat in the Minnesota House — the first Somali-American candidate will be elected to the state Legislature.
DFL candidate Ilhan Omar will take on Republican Abdimalik Askar for the District 60B house seat in November's general election.
Celebrating the win

Omar, 33, defeated longtime incumbent Phyllis Kahn in a three-way Democratic primary race Tuesday night.
Omar now takes on Askar, who was the Republican candidate for the seat in 2014 as well.
That year, Kahn defeated Askar with almost 77 percent of the vote. Against another Republican, she won with almost 79 percent of the vote in 2012.
Askar, 40, understands he's got an uphill battle, especially as Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has not only called for a ban on Muslim immigrants, but more recently, singled out Somalis in Minnesota, citing a Washington Times commentary that said Somali Americans have put a strain on the state's welfare system.
"When it comes to the Somali communities, the Muslim communities, when Donald Trump says something related about specific Somalis, he's labeling all the Somalis, for example, as terrorists," he said. "If he's saying that, that will hurt me, that's for sure."
Omar said to have two Somali-American candidates for the seat, coming just days after Trump's comments, is heartening.
"I think this is an interesting twist and something for us to be really proud of as Minnesotans," she said.
Askar, who leads an IT support team at Wright Medical Group, hopes people will look at where he stands on issues.
"The main thing that caused me to run was students failing in schools," he said. "The Republican party has the wonderful platform for school choice."
Askar is working on his doctorate in education leadership at St. Mary's University of Minnesota. He said education is his biggest priority. He agrees with some in his party on several social and fiscal conservative stances — he says marriage should be between a man and a woman and is against abortion.
"I believe in the small businesses, I believe in a small government," he said. "I don't believe the government should take all the taxpayer's money."
Omar, a former senior policy aide for Minneapolis City Council member Andrew Johnson who currently serves as the policy director for Women Organizing Women, wants to work on closing racial disparities in education, raising the minimum wage and making higher education more affordable.
"We need to work towards a more progressive, and prosperous, and equitable Minnesota," she said in an interview with All Things Considered host Steven John.
The most recent data for the district that includes the University of Minnesota, Cedar-Riverside and part of the Seward neighborhood, shows about 20 percent of the population is black or African American, including a large Somali population.
Omar said she got into the race in for several reasons.
"I believe that our district's diversity should be celebrated," she said. "And that we needed someone who had the cultural fluency to unite our district and have all our voices be heard and collaboratively work together."
