Mad... As a Somali, I know that each time we have foreign intervention, all it does is make things worse.
My arguement is correct. When you win the war, you form a government of national unity. The SNA was willing to do that and had talks underway with the ex-Siyaad regime who were licking their wounds from successive defeats.
What I don't get is why Boutros Ghali, the USA, and UN had decided to become so biased against the SNA ? I understand the reason for Bourtros Ghali, being a friend of Siyaad Barre and a believer that the Darood were fellow Arabs while the Hawiye were not.
The SNA was willing to honor any national interests the USA had in Somalia. They did not come across as anti-American.

-- The starvation in Baidoa was in full swing by the time the USC captured it from Siyaad. The ex-government forces had looted the foodstocks of the Eelay and used it to feed their armies. The Late General Aideed spent a lot of time in Baidoa to get int'l focus on the starvation. This was contrary to what his close advisors had suggested which was to go to Mogadishu and finish off the Ali Mahdi group.
-- The Sacad are not responsible for gross violation, not more so than any other Somali clan with the exception of Beesha 5aad. We have always had cordial relations with the Ogaden for hundreds of years.
(2)How do you account for your (Sacad that is) powerful position in Mogadishu when your heartland is up in Mudug region? were u lucky or perhaps brave enough to get your hands on the retreating somali gov't arsenals? or we just underestimate your presence in Xaamar?
--- We were brave. You are correct in that we captured the former military compounds. However, the Sacad's real power lied in its clan's wealthy businessmen who funded the USC. Without the Sacad wealthy business and the countless donations from the Sacad diaspora, the USC would have never took off. No qabiil funded the USC like the Sacad. Nairobi Sacad contributed to a tune of $20 million in 1991 alone.
(3) In which street battle was the late Gen killed? who killed him and was it during the battle with Abgaals for the control of Xaamar? or Muruursades?
This is a myth. Aideed was not killed in a street battle. He died from complications related to a battle injury. President Moi sent Aideed a medical plane to evacuate him to Nairobi Hospital but Aideed refused and said, "I don't want to die overseas." During the operation to treat his injury, he died.

The Degodia women are extremely beautiful, very hardworking and baari to their husbands.
(5) and in the same breath, have you seen any uglier girls than saleebans one in your life?
Yes, I have seen Majeerten who remind me of the Giriama.
thanks in advance.

"So MAD .... So how was it any of the USA's or UN's business ?
How did it fit into the US interests ?"
Ahhhh, now this is a very good question. It wasn't. We should have let you guys go on killing each other as long as you wanted to. Wasn't our problem.
Which is why MAC says, when the subject of Darfur comes up, fock 'em. Let them kill each other til the cows come home. Rape away. Not my problem. I refuse to care anymore. Just a bunch of Africans killing a bunch of Africans. Happens all the time.
