Re: Black Africa is our people and land.
I never agreed with Dawaa but the man has some solid points,
Why is it all Africans must be labeled black when they don't even have the same genes? Why aren't Indians or Sri Lankans classified as black even when they are dark?
I don't see this so called African brotherhood at all. We are not the same people

Re: Black Africa is our people and land.
How about We define "Black Africa". Africa is the World's largest continent and to say they all share a anscestor or share a common denominator is crazy. Now certain subsets of Africans, sure Eithos, Eritreans, Sudaneese, Muratianians, Berbers, sure I'll take that all those comparisons and lumping. They are black (By skin shade) and they are in Africa, a fair statement. However Ghana, Botswana, Cameroon, Nambia come on, that is a major stretch and even Cadaans can tell the difference. Also cadaans whether from the Scholarship community or from the Laymens are pretty ingorant When it comes to race differentiation. A lot of them always had the habit of lumping all Africans together since Africa for the most part was all colonolized, and the hundreds of years of American, European, Middle Eastern slave trade was based on grabbing "blacks from Africa". However the Africans of the Horn, Nubian regions, etc. were free from this, infact Ethiopia a ancient society was never even colonized.
About this E1b1b gene I keep hearing about these days the consensus is "E1b1b is found in various forms in the Horn of Africa, North Africa, the Mediterranean, Europe, and the Middle East" Where is there a mention of Sub Saharan Africa?
Btw, the only thing I hate about making these points is that it gives the impression that I'm lending credence to the Nomads, Old English's and other lower dredges of the world, who will use this to let all of their insecurity burst out

Btw, Voltage You know more than anyone I'm mindfocked by Arabs, and as a Guy who experienced life in the Middle East, We have more in common with Arabs than with other Sub Saharan Africans. I got nothing, in common with Sub Saharan Africans (The Muslim ones) but come on Man. Infact in some parts of Sub Saharan Africa, people don't wear any clothes literily. Where else in the world will You find that except parts of Sub Saharan Africa (Even though they might be remote parts). The Horn of Africa was the brink of civilization, Islam. Heck, Southern Arabia was even conquered and held by Abysinnia. Your very subclan was in the history books hundreds of years ago, advancing Islam. Its a dangerous precedent to lump Somalis in with such a massive group of people without any distinctions, differentiations.

I never said I don't have anything in common with my Arab, Muslim brothers. Heck I know I share more cultural features with a Malaysian Muslim brother than a non-Muslim next door neighbor in Kenya bro. However the reality is we are black racially and to contest this or not understand is to either be seriously misinformed/confused or be suffering from some serious inferiority complex. When I first applied for college, I didn't even check the "black" box. I checked "other" and wrote Somali. Now, I identify myself as Black first before Somali and if anyone tells me otherwise, they get their ass handed to them.Murax wrote:Btw, Voltage You know more than anyone I'm mindfocked by Arabs, and as a Guy who experienced life in the Middle East, We have more in common with Arabs than with other Sub Saharan Africans. I was looking to buy my second car just a year ago this time and the car dealer in a remote town couple hours away from us asked me and my mom who was with me if we were from "Pakistan". I said no we are Black and from East Africa. Your comment reminded of that.Murax wrote:and even Cadaans can tell the difference. Re: Black Africa is our people and land.
Again you are racist Tuba. I have seen many beautiful white Caucasian women and have been attracted to them enough to get with them. The fact you categorically cross out Bantu Africans or whites says you are a racist. My position is this; attraction is personal. Saying you as a Somali will not be attracted to a "race" is both racist and backward.Tuba wrote:No, I can rule whom ever I want out because I have the freedom to. I can also appreciate beauty when I see it and hence know there are beautiful people in every race. However that alone does not necessarily harbor my attraction. I see many good-looking caucasion males but that doesn't mean I'm attracted to them.
To be honest, the thought of copulating with an caddan guy is something I cannot fathom. You've got it twisted, having a preference does not make one prejudice.![]()

Horn Africans are closer to Europeans and Middle Easterners both genetically as well as in their features (if you leave out woolly hair and the melanin content of their skin).
oh dear.

Mathilda’s Anthropology Blog.
"Somalis aren’t very closely to West Africans at all. You share a lot of ancestry with Europeans and Arabs, which is why you have more delicate facial features and straighter hair than other Africans."
" It’s mostly Afrocentric West Africans and black Americans who get all pissy at this because it means the East African kingdoms had some Eurasian in them and weren’t ‘all black’ (racism, so a two way street). I’ve got some news for you, even West Africans have some Eurasian ancestry in them (Y DNA R1b + K, and mt DNA U) from a very old back migration into Africa. There’s no such thing as ‘black or white racial purity’"

Somalis are Black African people.

Now about the point of being black and from Africa, ofcourse We are black and from the Continent of Africa. That just cannot be denied by anyone who's sane. The question is though should everyone who's black and from Africa be lumped into the same group?

Re: Black Africa is our people and land.
Voltage, I can't take you seriously man, you and your ilk are pathetic. What I wanna know is why people always assume somalis have to be related either to arabs or bantu africans
. Linguistically, I don't have anything to do with black africans. Genetically, a pure somali (without arab or african mixing) has nothing to do with black africans. And culturally I have more to do with an Uzbek nomad than a cameroonian or kenyan. Your might feel affinity towards your jareer brothers because you come from the jungles of southern somalia but if you say that shit to a person in burco you will get lynched
. All you're basing your argument on is "we have a dark skin complexion and we live in africa, so we must be reer kunte kinte". You are a pathetic self-hater who comes with a new identity everyday. One minute you're arab, then you're somali, then you're ugandan. GTFOH with that shit
.

There lies the whole answer for this thread and the Reason for your view. I was born here in the west and yet i still regard myself Somali before iam Black, American or Canadian. So what went wrong here Voltage.Voltage wrote:I never said I don't have anything in common with my Arab, Muslim brothers. Re: Black Africa is our people and land.
Voltage,
Bantus and Somalis were the same group of people around the same time the ancestors of the Chinese, Arabs, Europeans, Native Americans and Aborigines were living together in one place.
You sill didn’t proof a genetic link between the two.
White and Chinese people are genetically closer to each other than Somalis and Bantus are.
