All the somalis I have seen in real life with non african haplogroups look abit different but there r no clan differences in general
Even the fulani and toubou look like hybrid not like their neighbouring tribes!
Haplogroups have absolutely nothing to do with how you look. If your great grandfather went to China and started a tribe, by the third generation they will look completely Chinese but still have left over Somali Y-DNA. You see?
Your skin tone and physical appearance genes are on chromosome 1 through 22 (called autosomes) not on your Y-Chromosome or Mitochondria.
The only thing Y-Chrom does is regulate Testosterone, nothing else really.
The only thing the Mitochondria does is regulate Energy levels, nothing else.
Especially Y-DNA has less to do with appearance than MT-DNA, because successful males can have hundreds of children but women are limited to only a couple.
Habeshas have nearly the same autosomal DNA as Somalis. There's only a 10% difference in Middle Eastern ancestry they have over Somalis from Bronze Age South Semite migrations. 10% is not enough to change skin color. And that map is fake, skin color difference between Habeshas and Somalis is not significant. That map is claiming they have the same color as Yemenis and Central-North Indians, what a load of crap. You are very stupid if you think haplogroups code for skin color. Any geneticist would laugh in your face if you told him or her that.
I get it now! T in the horn is a founder effect thats why they r genotypically and phenotypically different than the original one due to a genetic drift but J1 in the horn is not a founder effect since it peakes in arabia-based on its frequencies- this makes the J the last migration also its cariers seem more to have a hybrid ethnic origin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Founder_effect

T among Somalis is the result of a founder effect but not necessarily in the rest of East Africa. You are right that J carrying Semites migrated to the Horn in larger numbers as a South Arabian Kingdom established itself in the Horn and gradually expanded into the highlands. Hence, why the Tigre look much more hybrid than Somalis, possess J haplogroup at higher numbers and speak a Semitic language.

I see, thanks sxb.
Habesha r mixed race just like the arabs call them...their original name is al ajaaciz and their language is called al jacziya-Gees in english- even they wear the same pre-islamic traditional yemanite attire!
Before the christianity-the pre-aksumate culture-they worshiped the same south arabian moon deity-al maqa- after the christianity, they used to play in yemen the same role they r playing now in somalia-divide and rule- bc the habasha were allied with saba against himyar and hadramout..reason bc they hail from saba when they were known as al jacziyah https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... 30.svg.png
