United: Didn't improve their team much with the capture of only three players for almost 50 million pounds. Young is good but his inclusion means that either Valancia or Nani is not going to get that many games and he's not much of an improvement on each. Phil Jones will also have to compete with Rio, Evans, Smalling & Vidic. So, again, not much of an improvement there. The keeper is suspect.
Dude you don't even know what you're talking about, Young is a much better improvement than Nani or Valencia because neither can play with Rooney. Rooney is at his best when playing with a talented winger, back then we had Ronaldo and ever since he left the wing was missing an impact player. Already in 3 PL games, Ashley Young has 2 goals and 4 assist (3 of them leading to Rooney). I'm boggled as to why Park or Giggs aren't starting over Nani, Sir Alex is giving the kid too much trust.

Phil Jones is already making an impact on the team when both Vidic and Rio got injured in the first game of the season and the kid is filling in nicely at CB, he's definately a future starter when Rio slows down.

Honestly I think Man united is a deep team anyways, the EPL is ours and if everything goes our way we'll make it to yet another CL semi finals and who knows what we do in the next transfer window.

And you dare to tell me that I don't know anything!

What does Young do that the other two don't? How many games will Jones get when the two main defenders are back? What did United do about the big fat hole in the middle of their team?

Don't let the 8-2 seduce you into thinking that this United team is anything to sing about, mate. This is the same time that won only one game away from home last season. But could they really compete now that Chelsea, City & Liverpool reinforced their squads and are ready to put in a real challange? Are they heck!

 Liverpool?? sxb what drug are you on? when was the last time they played in a Champions league match?

Young was performing long before the 8-2 circus, the fact that you think him and Nani are on the same level shows you haven't watch the games and hence don't know what you're talking about.

Sir Alex has already mentioned that Rio is going to have to fight for his spot when he comes back because Jones is just that good, plus for a young guy he's already had the experience of playing in the EPL so he's no rookie.
