If it talks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...what else is it beside a duck?

Why have I not labeled you what I labeled them? Although I must be clear and say it is an immense insult to compare Alpha and Green. He just has subconscious bias even though I am sure he doesn't want. Her viewpoints expressed in this topic are despicable and things she could never and would never say to people in real life.

Voltage,

It has nothing to do with a qabiil. Do you mean to tell me that a DICTATOR has the right to his land etc? :? That, doesn't even make sense he wasn't even elected, he has no right to the State money. :|

Of course, all his properties prior to the coup would and should stand, but after that people have right to put up a fuss!

Personally, I don't think they took a lots of land or an immense amount of houses. But if it should be that they did, then it should be deeply scrutinised.

Green, I know 9+ people in this forum from all clans who know me in real life. What you see about my beliefs is what you get. I am sorry but I don't see you even talking about politics with people in real life and especially not condoning murder of people and the theft of their properties because by virtue of being "Darod", they are the "opposition" (presumably to Hawiye in your mind). SMH.

You seem totally different than even 99% of your contributions in this forum which goes to show you never put value in outward appearance until you actually start to understand what the person is about. You sure could have fooled me, but I now say tricks are for kids.

My last 2 cents.

I have always found you very macquul and there is nothing you have said in this topic that I cannot find myself in agreement with. Like you I don't believe a dictator has rights to state land, but that is not even what the majority of the discussion is about nor really something that is too big of an argument among Somalis since it is well understood Siad had no properties beyond Villa Somalia and Khadijo's house. The discussion is something else entirely and of which I would say we have been in agreement 98% of the time.

Its called dagalada sukeye for a reason.
How is a civilian a member of any "opposition", or is that a euphemism for a specific clan?

That's what I am trying to understand. If a political rebel group (USC) was fighting a president (Siad), what condones the killing and forced removal of their home of say an innocent Marehan family, a Majerten family, a Dhulbahante family, etc?

Ku lahaa "opposition". Allahu manajaynaa. Opposition to her is opposite clan so the rape of an 80 year Darod woman in Mogadishu by a USC mooryaan is sanctioned under the model of "opposition".

Kind of sad really.

What do you call civilians killing civilians because they view them to be an enemy? My point was they were not killed for their house but because they were seen as “them”.

Ethnic cleansing.

As for your second point, we're discussing how to return property gained as a result of the "civilian murdering civilian" phenomenon of 1991.

Marka are we talking about the deaths or the property.
