That is not even an issue. I don't understand why Somalis are so scared of going back

There is a lot of option in getting out of it. You can simply ask them not to stamp it and most of them will listen. Some will give you a hard time and ask you for $20 fee, which is not that big of a deal. Or when you get to Nairobi you can get yourself a "fake" Somali passport. I got this old, used and cheap looking Somali passaport that you can clearly see that they ripped the original photo off of it and they will put my photo there. I couldn't even remember my new name on the fake passport, and when I got to Hargeisa airport and my passport was taken away, they ask me my name and I was like

You will have to dispose when you are coming back (or give it back to the people your bought it from, and they will return some of the fees) because when they are going through your luggages if they find it you will be in trouble. It happen to my uncle and he was held in Amsterdam airport for 24 hours

Amilla thanks for the info sis.
You still kinda screwed me though cuz if the Alphabet Boys are reading this thread they will now question me if I have a Kenyan stamp and be like "We know u went to Kenya to go to Somalia"

Re: Rebuilding the property you fled in Mogadishu after 20 y
Murax they know.. They asssume everyone who has been to Kenya has been to Somalia.. They seen my kenyan visa and they asked me if i went to Somalia...

Re: Rebuilding the property you fled in Mogadishu after 20 y
Yeah!
But how will they tell you apart from the thousands of Somalis that go to Kenya just to end up in Somalia every year?

Alchemist,
Yea, these Guys know there are no direct flights from the US to Somalia and that the only way in is via Kenya
Amilla,
They won't be able to tell Me apart, so they'll treat all those thousands the same, which is long interrogations

Alchemist & Murax, Amilla,
I don't give a shid, I got my passport stamped with SL and Somalia Visas. Them Immigration fockers just searched my belongings and let me through.
As long as your story is straight and you declared your visit to Somalia, it is not a crime. Denying it and having your details show up that you went to Somalia, GOOD LUCK.
P.S. your records are stored from passenger manifests, immigration records etc.
You will be found out.
Its NOT a crime to visit Somalia, its not CUBA

Folks, if you go to Somalia, don't hide from the US authorities when you get back. They already knew it when I got back in July 2010. The officer at the Amesterdam's airport laughed at me when I asked him how did he know I went to Somalia. He told me "he, as an Dutch official knew that I went to Somalia, and when you get to USA at New Jersey, they already knew that you went Somalia." Luckily, I did not hide from them that I went to Somalia. The questions were simplerer: Where did you go, why did you go there, and what are you bringing back into the USA? When I was catching the flight from Dubai, an official from UAE security asked how come my passport does not have any stamps from Somalia for all the places you visited? I have told him they saw that I am Somali, so they took my fee, and let me in.
Soomaalida qaar waxay passportka ama travel documentska kaga tagaan Ethiopia, DJibouti, ama Kenya, dabadeedna gudahay galaan. Markaa haddii cid aragtay aanay jirin, way qarin karaan inay Soomaaliya tageen, laakiin haddii aad passportka la gashid waa lagu ogyahay ee ogow. Aniga taladayda waxba ha qarin meeshaad tagtay iyo sababta aad u tagtid waayo haddii aad qarisid adigaa dhib isku sii biirinaya. Runta in la sheego wax ka wanaagsan ma jiraan!
