LH you really are Lost buddy. Just calm down for a bit and chillix cause this shit is about to blow us away. I just truly hope that something which gets build up this doesn't fall flat on its face.

Charlie isn't Widmore's son. Widmore only told Desmond that his son (Daniel) wanted to play with DraftShaft which is Charlie's band. Daniel Faraday was always Widmore's son, he just didn't know it. Widmore and the old lady Eloise parented Daniel on the island right about the time he traveled back to set off the bomb. Eloise shot Daniel and killed him in 1979 not knowing he was her son that she was pregnant with. On that same episode we learned that Widmore was his father. Daniel Faraday isn't annoying, he's different like Desmond and Eko. It was f-king awesome seeing him back on the show.

Like you said this episode has put an end to the entire alternate reality thing, thanks to Faraday. Eloise is the key to everything, she managed to play them like puppets all along. Not just that she's not effected by all the madness, she's also masterminding their rat race which makes me think that she has lived through both time lines multiple times. She always directs them to where they should be cause she already has lived through it. She easily sent Faraday to the island even she knew she will kill him. In the first season she convinced Desmond to take that sailing trip knowing that he was going to crash and get stuck on the island. Then later she knew how to locate the island and got the survivors back to the island so they can set off that bomb which created this alternate reality. Its either Eloise is stuck in time and space loop or she is working with the man in black and is trying to set him free off the island. Maybe she is the island herself

Desmond on the fake reality is going to wake everyone up now. Everyone who was on the plane that was suppose to crash. Faraday already taught Desmond how to manage himself between dimensions when he told him to find a constant in the fourth season. His constant then was Penny, his constant now is again Penny whom he just found. He is aware or at least has some sort of an idea of what is going on.

We'll see Micheal on the next one but I highly doubt that we'll see Walt. Just because Walt is alive and Micheal is dead. I know one would think that we can only see the live ones and not the dead ones, but this is Lost and shit don't work like that.

This is why I love Daniel Faraday; the only Lost character who never lets me down when needing answers to this damn show. Brilliant that He and Desmond are both back.

So now Dess knows about the alternate realities thing, hes off to tell the other passengers of 815 about it... on and off the island?
Is that why he went off with Sayid and didnt stick around with Widmore miya?
Also, is Daniels constant hes diary since he already knew about the other reality and hydrogen bomb when he was off the island?
Another thing, Do I have to agree with Gatspy now and say that Penny and Desmond is indeed the best love story in Lost? Hmmmm, Im still waiting for the Sun-Jin reunion.

Shit is really coming together.....Now thanks to Micheal we know what the whispers were about all along. This answer has been six years in the making. ok now that Desmond is on a mission I guess everyone in the flash-sideways will coming back to the Island with the help of Eloise, meaning everyone on the island for now has to die . Why was The Man in Black intimidated by Desmond even though he couldn't and didn't kill him? And whats the story behind the little boy who seems to be the keeper of the rules? is it possible that its young Jacob time traveling?

the revelation about the whispers was a little underwhelming though, don't you think? I think the little boy is Jacob but he looked a little different the last time we saw him. We know that MIB couldn't kill Des, from the trailer, so does that mean that he another candidate ? Maybe even the ultimate candidate since he's the only one that seems to have some power of his own;

Last night's was quite possibly the most pathetic episode of all season...and too bad it was Hugo-centric.....All Hugo episodes are awesome...And the answer about the whispers was extremely unsatisfying. I mean, any1 with half a brain figured it out by season 2. ...I just want two questions answered and lord help them if they don't:

1) Why are all these ppl connected? I mean, they are all running into each other off the island. What's their connection to the island?

2) When are these flash backs/forwards? The alternate reality theory was debunked by last week's episode. I mean the crash happened, obviously, so this is not what would have happened had they NOT crashed... What do you think happened that made them forget the events on the island?



BONUS QUESTION: Why did Desmond run over Locke? We can pretty much guess why Locke threw him in the well on the island: Locke thinks Widmore might use Desmond to stop him from getting off the island or as a weapon, no?

last nite was not as bad as some are saying (atleast not to me). it was wierd to hear that Mike was the wispering, cuz everyone was expecting that to be the black smoke. the good thing about last nite was that Benjamin and his home boy went one side and jack fellowed Hugo, coud this be the begining of us and others??

Lion Their connection is that they're all candidates. I'm thinking maybe they have lived their lives over number of times and because of the choices they have made in the past, they're keep ending up running back into each all over again.

Earlier I thought it was was the Hydrogen bomb with magmatic feild that has cause the flashsideways but now I don't think that its even real. The bomb was blown up after Faraday's death yet hes well and alive and insane in the flashsideways. So this whole thing is disturbingly confusing.

I guess Desmond is thinking if he kills Locke, the man in black with not have a vassal to inhabit.
