Just goes to show you Majeerteen were there long time ago. So we have claim on the city more then any other Hawiye. When we got their, there were minorities! Just like Lower Shabelle is all minorities, but who is in control? Cayr. We have a better case because we actually live there and in numerous towns, do Cayr have towns in Lower Shabelle? They never lived there before the war and still don't till now. So don't challenge my claim on Lower Jubba because it's mine along with my fellow Kinsmen! Cool

And I wonder how the distinction between living and owning a region is lost on you. But they again you're a camel pirate, stealing is other's property is xalaal.

I knew some hartis lived there for nearly 100 years just like many clans lived in various parts of Somalia far away from their traditional degaans. We're talking about ownership. You Hartis claim Kismaayo and large junks of Jubooyinka on the premise you had few sea pirates shipwrecked there 100 years ago. How can men like Af-gaduud and Morgan with their Bari accent still strongly detectable claim a city they can't properly pronounce? Laughing

We know where daroods settle and it aint Jubooyinka. 90% of all daroods there are refugees. Even Morgan agrees with me. He's on youtube stating that even in 92/93 with all darood refugees from xamar that daroods were still minority in Kismaayo.

So who was in Lower Jubba before the Harti and the Ogaden came? Hawiye? I'll slap you silly if you say that.
And as for the video of Morgan saying the Darood were minority in Kismayo, where is it? There were no clans in Lower Jubba except for Bajuuni that only lived in Kismayo. So who should we leave all those lands to? No one else but us live there at the moment. Who else lives with us? We own the land period.

I never said Kismaayo was Hawiye or Raxanwyen or Ogadeen. Old kismaay was nothing more than small fishing community populated by swaaxili speaking people like the Bajuuni. Then came af-maxaa speakers including some hartis, OGs, dirs, Hawiye and afmaay speaking raxanweyns but to lesser extent.

The first major Harti darood migration there occured during Italian coloniasm when many Hartis attached to Italians like lice attaches itself on skuls infested the place with their camel pirating mentality. But still the majority there were non-harti.

Look, why do you think ALL the men who fought over that city were never born there? Men like Gobaale and seeraar (hawiye), afguduud, omar jees, hiraale, morgan et al. Shouldn't that pique your curiousity at least?

Regardless, majority rules in Somalia. Look at Mogadishu in colonial times, the city was majority Cad Cad but it was in Abgal Country. Same way with Lower Jubba, it's in Harti country not even Ogaden because Ogaden are farther out the country side.

So we've come to the conclusion that Kismayo is a Harti city.

Even our Qaldaan former-slaves do our debating for us.

Thanks Dulbahantes for taming them! up

Paidmonk,

The written article even show that the Cusman Maxmuud in Kismaayo killed over 800 Warsangeli in 1868 after war broke out. The Dulbahante came to the aid of the Warsangeli and the Cusman Maxmuud annihilated their whole army. It's written, if you want I can show you. It all happened after the Warsangeli killed a Majeerteen man.
