lol, it was a slip up mayn and my family lived in waqooyi for a longtime, they slip sometimes too...

As for me am f*kkin tied of proving am abgaal specially when i go to places like Northern Mogadishu.

me, I can put on both.........but as a child waqooyi accent was our first then we mixed with our extended family in the process picking up the regular somali language.
do you speak like reer-mudug or waqooyi?

None of those sxb i have Djiboutien accent
But thnx to my uncle i returned to Somalia in 1993 then re-adjusted the somali accent

Mother tangue: Arabic
Second Language: English ( Just reading and writting)
Third: somali (i think i can safe my life if needed somali, every body else says it's bad )

Your language skills are quite impressive. With that type of linguistic ability, you'd get a great job in UN, CIDA or any International trade, Business and Commerce organisation worldwide

sax!!, nowdays you can’t go to an interviews for a job without being asked if you can speak another langauge beside english walahi, speaking english is not enought any more, well french is an international langauge and used in international organizations and european institutions, more so than the other languages that i could have studied in college etc. spanish and german
