I swear sacads should focus in developing Hobyo seaport.

Southern Mudug State of Somalia

Location: Geographically, Southern Mudug Region lies at the centre of Somalia, with Nugaal bordering it to the north, Galgaduud region to the South, the Indian Ocean to the east and the Somali-inhabited Ethiopian Somali National Regional State (ESNRS) to the west. The region is found on Quaternary sand dunes that continuously shift depending on the wind direction. The coastal plain is locally called 'Deeh' and is rich in pastures good for raising sheep and goats. Southern Mudug State of Somalia has a coastline of some 300 km, giving it access to some of the richest fishing grounds in the world. Is to promote, direct, and assist the efforts of Southern Mudug's farmers to attain a high level of diversified food production to supply the needs of the Territory's residents for fresh, good quality, and low-cost food products, thus reducing the Territory's dependence on imported foods. We can begin this necessary development by processing our own traditional foods not only for our local market but for markets overseas where large communities of Southern Mudug and others exist, such as Washington, London, Roma, and Middile east.

"To effectively and efficiently deploy available public health human and material resources to promote physical and mental health and prevent disease, injury, and disability in Southern Mudug."
Purpose
The purpose of the Department of Health is to:
Prevent epidemics and the spread of disease Protect against environmental hazards Prevent injuries Promote and encourage healthy behavior Respond to disasters and assist communities in recovery Assure the quality and accessibility of essential primary health services, including the provision of community health services when needed
ESSENTIAL SERVICES AND FUNCTIONS:
In order to carry out its purposes, the Department of Health performs the following essential functions: Monitors health status to identify community health problems Diagnoses and investigates health problems and health hazards in the community Informs, educates, and empowers people about health issues Mobilizes community partnerships to identify and solve health problems Develops policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts Enforces laws and regulations that protect health and ensure safety Links people to needed personal health services and provides essential community-based primary health care when otherwise unavailable, or inappropriate Assures a competent public health and personal health care of the workforce Evaluates effectiveness, accessibility, and quality of personal and population-based health services Researches for new insights and innovative solutions to health problems
