it is clear that due to the mixing up of different westafricans adding a touch of white here and even some amerindian, most african americans will at least standout if they travel to Ghana, they will be recognized as african but they will have trouble placing thier exact location.

I must confess that the only Somalis I have seen are the ones that I looked up on the internet so I’ll take your word for it. I believe what you say is true about African Americans too. I remember when I was younger we had the whole race discussion in class during black history month. We wanted to know where people came up with the word colored from. The teacher said something like it was a word used to describe African Americans back in the 50s. Something about them being classed as colored since most are not all black but of mixed heritage.

I don’t know if that is true or not. Maybe I’m just remembering it wrong. I’ll Google the topic later.

Maybe you don’t know too much about American history or world history at that but the last time I checked it was we white that set up the race caste system in the US in the first place.
It’s because of our conquering of most of the world that even in Japan there are little girls dying their hair blonde to look more like us.

We do not talk about race some much because it is not politically correct for whites to do some in mixed company but when we are amongst ourselves the topic comes up a bit. My parents don’t mind me having friends of other races but they would freak if I brought a non white home. Most whites feel this way too.

The other day a black man that I work with brought up OJ Simpson and you should have seen how the whites including myself started to squirm.

I've lived amongst whites and Asian most of my life. And let me tell you something, none of them talk the way she does, she is clearly trying to play reserve psychology on Somalis.

If she comes here as a "white" person, we Somalis will feel more pressured to want to be black. She wants us to accept something she is. Because she hates that hair she can't comb.

I really don't know what allurings problem is or what she has against me or whites and blacks in general. I take most of what I read here with a grain of salt but this alluring person really seems to be taking this all very seriously.
