Spare me.... if you were a gigolo, ur women wouldn't be gettin focked as often as they do. They're constantly on their knees caressing non-somali ceeb.

Depends on what aspect of America you admire. America is what you make of it.

Ismahan123, you would take a bullet for Dubya, therefore, you are excused of this poll.

, Yaa akhii, I was merely joking with the comment I made sometime back. U might not know it, but ever since I could vote, I voted for Democrates. Not that it matters who wins anymore, they are all the same. Anyway way, Dubya is very SPECIAL and not in a very good way.

"Admire" ? Definitely not, as I live in a better country, that hasn't a 1/5th of the enemy's America has.

Quote Ndolo,
"I am a bit puzzled here by you.
You know who america is going to side with ----protecting self interest i suppose.
You seem to anticipate a war which is not on the horizon---u can see around the bends maybe!
And lastly you talk of divisions within islam that i (a muslim)have never heard of.(takfiri )
I can only assume that after industrialization has freed you from the otherwise unending tasks of fending for yourselves, all that is left now is study others to know them more than they know themselves."
Ndolo,
You missed a fairly lengthy exposition on the Takfiri on this board by about two weeks. I am no expert in this area, so I will give you these links:
http://www.pwhce.org/takfiri.htmlhttp://mondediplo.com/2007/07/03takfirismMy view of the war potential derives from my reading of the news, much of it on this board. Clearly, both KSA and Iran have proxies in Iraq they are supporting. Israel appears to be supporting the Kurds, who are opposed in any break-away-state notions by the Turks. Whether or not the US takes out Iran's nuclear capability, there is going to be some major jostling in the area when the US pulls out.
Are you aware of all the different oil pipelines being fast-tracked around the Straits of Hormuz?
Since you are new, let me fill you in. I am a former PC Volunteer who taught at the Government School in Jilib in 1966-67. I have more than just you here convinced I am totally nuts, and that's ok. I enjoy the Somali personality and stay around for the regional news and the stimulating conversation. I am self-employed and my participation here fits in between my dental laboratory work. I do have a life.
