They are prominent figures,noble figures from the country Islamic Republic of Somalia(inshallah this will come after the abid republic of somalia is destroyed).

Shiikh Daahir Aweys and Shiikh Sharif Shiikh Axmed.The other one,i dont know .

Somalia will always exist for the same reason Somaliland will never be recognized.

The current borders in Africa are considered sacred.

Zenawi will never annex Somalia because that would imply those borders can be changed. And if they can be changed, why not have Oromia?

Whether the borders are officially changed or not is irrelevent. For all intents and purposes Somalia is and will be part of Ethiopia whether you like it or not.

If America can't hold on to Iraq, with their nigh-unlimited funds, soldiers and high tech weaponry, why should starving, broke, full-of-dissent Ethiopia be able to hold on to a country with an even stronger insurgency?
America can't keep bailing them out with $100 million cheques every month.

Because Iraq has a populace that are proud, and the majority of the country is agains the occupation at least in their hearts. Don't forget Basrah, Kufah, Baghdad etc. were all gems of the Islamic Khilafah. However in Somalia, a lot of the populace don't really mind Eithiopia being in their country, because of their enmity to one another.

Iraq was the same as Somalia was for years. The insurgency was weak, and most of the populace felt cowed by the American might. From 2003 till about 2005 this persisted, then slowly things began to change.
It is too soon to declare Somalia dead.

If the topic starters and the topic supporters don't want to give an ounce of attention to the sources brought by refuters like James Dahl, then their childish theories are worthless.

"Ahmed Gurey" was NOT Somali, he just lived with them. He was either Arab, Afar, or Belew, its too obvious. He spoke about Somalis and Oromos in third person perspective in quotes from Futuh al Habesh. If he was Somali, he would've been from a clan based in Zeila, so he would be closest related to King-of-Awdal.

Once again, this childish "We are the World" attitude that DS and his pet Warsame carry, has to die.
