Dawladsade yea right i can understand better hamarii somali than my grandmother so i dont think she will be much of a help with that song. on serious note though what the hell were they singing about and why does the song sound like it's anfarii.

AGAIN AM NOT INTERESTED IN OLDER GENERATION SONGS OR ARTIST.

King your problem is you don't know Somali well or are versed in Somali affairs naturally, I derive this observation from your open naivety of Somali affairs beyond the classic textbook differences used by those who have limited natural knowledge of Somalis or their affairs and don't want to seem completely uninformed.
Ask your grandma kiddo, and while you are it do more learning than talking, the Baxsan singing your "xamari song" is from Waqooyi and Hargeisa, I have seen you bring your preconceived notions many times in these sorts of discussions...after a while they become buffers to you understanding thorough and whole Somali culture/language, people etc...not helpful

Dawladsade well u are right my somali is weak so what. As for my grandma , first of all she isnt somalian but a djboutian so even if the song has any signifcance to somalia or its affairs she wouldnt know. and who the hell is baxsan

as a reer hargeisa singing a hamari song i could careless since am not reer hargiesa. Again i didnt come in here assuming or percieving something, that's why i asked the question in the begining as my knowledge of somali music is very limited so if u arent gonna be much of a help and give me song's that were supposedly sung for ur tribe or something am not interested so hit the road kiddo.
