You might not be 'xaasid'. However, you showed envy plus jealosy in one!.

Who are you to tell these couple to enjoy with each other?. Are you telling us you know their priority better themselves?. If they decided not to see each other but work to pay their mortage, then that is their priority. And we have to respect that!. We shouldn't be making choices for them.period.

99 % of Somali either live government housing, Section 8, or rented apartment/houeses. It is only 1% of Somalis who buy houses. Thus, it is unfair and counter productive to criticize 1% instead of following their footsteps.

House is the best investment. If that family keep their house in next two years, their property will clear at least 100 K. Please refrain your envy and jealosy from those who are working hard to make good living for themselves and their families. you need to criticize getto-living wadaads who bless welfare and government housing and criticize mortages--what a losers!.

my family owns their house and the property of their business. personally i bought a condo early this year and rent it.

I have seen some skinnies who strive day & night just to buy those xpensive homes in the West. Damn, our dying land needs such amount of $$. Wallaahi Somalis are just maanlaaweyaal! That's why we are under such never ending destructive predicaments. What we forget is that we came here in the West as Qaxoots, and we could be defined oursleves as the Somali adage goes: "Baqal fardo la miratay in ey mid tahay is-moodaa!", we are exactly in that situation now! We are spending all our hard earned $$$ on a land where are known as aliens. It doesn't matter whether you are American Citizen, or hold and Internl Passport, still you alien. We should think twice, and spend our $$$ more wisely. Surely, it would have been better if we just get back to Somalia and invest up there with whatever we have amassed during our short peroid here in the West.
