Kambuli,

Who said all 37 year old single-mothers are ugly? I have seen some hot tamales in my part of the world that still have their game tight. Laughing

Dawladsade,

Sxb. you must understand that if everyone chooses to write however they please, it will cause confusion, that is why the MSB government chose standard Somali for writing. I specially hate people who feel like they must prove their 'Qabiil' by over-doing the whole thing.

Voltage,

Waa nala hayaa! Laughing

Ma Soomaaliyaad Dugsi ku dhigatayi? Mise waxaad ku jirtaa ilmaha Af-Soomaliga guryahooda lagu baray? Laughing

Xaawo Taako waan xasuustaa! Right in the heart of downtown area, near Madbacada Qaranka, ilmo fara badan oo Marehan ah baa dhigan jiray. Laughing

Maxamud Mire was right near Masaajidka Isbaheysiga & Taalada Sayidka, very strategic location and the curriculum was all in Arabic, we used to have Egyptian teachers who used to give some serious beatings.

Which Carwo, the one in Hodan near the Coca Cola plant towards #4? Or X-Fiyoore near Tiyaatarka?

Marka hore yaanan la kala gardarnaan, leysna xag-xagan:

Koronto, adiga sheeganaya ninka af somaliga alifey, isku dabadirey naxwaha af somaliga, dabadeedna ku daabacey buugaagti afka somaliga laga baran jirey walee been baad ka sheegtey iskana butaacdey.

Bal intaadan is waalin dacayaha gudduudana kor u tagin, bal marka hore isla wada garano qaladaadka iyo af somaliga naxwifiisa quracan ay Koronto iyo Kulbuli (magacyo guracan) ku andacoonayaan:

Koronto: Wuxuu qorey sidatan hoos ku qoran "Tix-raac"

"Haa! Kuwaan waaye kuwa aan ugu necbahay in aan akhriyo qoraalkooda. I still have my 5th Grade science book from Somalia, walaahi when I read it and when I read the gibberish on most sites the difference is just incredible"

Bal haddaan u yara daadagno qoraalkaa, waxaad ka garan inuusan af somaliga asalka ah, ama ingariiska madanigana midnaba matelin.

Tusaale ( dhinaca Somaliga ah):

""Haa! Kuwaan waaye kuwa aan ugu necbahay in aan akhriyo qoraalkooda"...

Haddaan af somaliga asalka u rogaal celino "sadarkaa" uu qorey ninkaa aan kor ku soo tibaaxney wuxuu noqon sidatan"

" Haa! Waa kuwan iyo iwm (u taagan: Wixii la mid ah) dadka anan jeclayn akhrinta qoraaladooda"

Bal marka hore adiga isa sax, ka dibna dadka kale sax

Kumbuli: wexey qortey sidatan hoos ku qoran:(tix-raac)

"Kuwo is yeelyeela, oo mooday af Somaali la jejebiyo inay qofka ka dhigeyso ruux da yar ama ruux aad cilmi u bartay...Dadkaasi aniga iyo adigaba way kaa badiyaan Af Somaliga laakiin waa dad cuqdad qaba...Kuwa noocaas ah waa dad ceebeysan... Runtiina anigu waan u yaxyaxaa dadka noocaas ah..."

Bal aan qaladaadkeedana farta ku fiiqno:

Kuwo = Kuwa

Oo moodey = modeyna

jejebiyo = je-jebiyo (waa laba xaraf)

Dhigeyso = dhigaya

Isku duub-duub, bal an is bar-bar dhigno labadan qoraal, akhristayaal idinkaa go'aanka leh

" Kuwa is yeel-yeela, modeyna af somali la je-jebiyey in qofku ka dhigayo ruux da' yar ama aad u cilmi badan..... Dadka noocaa (not "noocaas") ah, aniga iyo adiguba wey (not "way") naga badiyaan afka , balse waa dad qaba cuqdad isla markaana ceebeysan. Runtii waan ka yax-yaraa dadka noocaa ( not "noocaas") ah.

"Kuwo is yeelyeela, oo mooday af Somaali la jejebiyo inay qofka ka dhigeyso ruux da yar ama ruux aad cilmi u bartay...Dadkaasi aniga iyo adigaba way kaa badiyaan Af Somaliga laakiin waa dad cuqdad qaba...Kuwa noocaas ah waa dad ceebeysan... Runtiina anigu waan u yaxyaxaa dadka noocaas ah..."

Mideeda kale, nin baa horey ugu gabyey"

" Gobodleyda gaasha tu taal ay laba maryood gaym-gayman yiihiin... guur aan ka la'aado"

Kumbuli u fasiro siddad doonto.

Cabdallah I've always said everytime I read Emperior's post I remember some West Africans who could not say "acuudi bilaahi" and so said "hahuuzu bilaahi".
