i agree BUT...just because she don’t wear hijab doesn’t mean she’s not a good muslimah at all she may have other good character walal there are some sisters out there who only wear the hijab to please their family not allah, so qof marka u wax diinta ku sabsan ku kacayo ama ku daqmayo waxa fican ee qofka niyad ka tahay aysan ka ahayn is tustus...qof adusan jayaclan xirashada hejabka una wato maxaa ajar ugaga socda wayn un iska wada ... ..and the muslimah who wear hijab to please allah, only stay STRONG in her deen because, wearing the hijab is part of a muslimah's practice in islam

By xijaab do you mean the somali xijaab that women wear? Or like covering the hair and waring a scarf?

Well, regardless of which it is, I want my wife to cover her hair at least when we have children and she is a hoyoo. Before that she just has to be modest, but I won't enforce anything on her, its a personal choice. Its not like majority of Muslim men follow the dress code,including I, we aren't suppose to have pants that pass our ankles but we still do. Besides, wearing xijab and the religion is for allah, and until the person is ready to do so then there is no pointing on forcing them, if you do, they aren't doing it for allah but for you. Inna mal acmaalu binyat!

After I saw the silent war between hijabi and non-hijabi sisters in this country especially in the mosque where I spend most of my free time, and the war between hijabi and niqabi. I started to look how the sister conducts and treats others before I declare her as a good sister or good muslimah. It's unbelievable how people look outfits more than anything else. So wearing a piece of cloth on your head automatically makes you a pious women, well strike me down then for what I have seen. It annoys me when people well Muslimahs at my school go around gossiping at such and such for not covering their heads, when they don't even pray.

1 - war between hijabi and non-hijabi sisters
2 - war between hijabi and niqabi sisters



war # 2 is much fiercer than the war #1....its a matter of "holier than thou" at that point.

oh and let's not even talk about niqaabi's on non-hijabi's.
