About the mujahideen(sh.daahir aweys,indhacadde and sh.sharif), they are fighting for the sake of Allah swt and to rescue somalia from this gumeeysi/occupation. Specially Indhacadde,he is a true mujahid.(dahir aweys is veteran,look his age.sh.sharif is leader).

In economics we call it specialization. Availing yourself where you have comparative advantage. Sh. Shiriif is of far better use if he acted as the diplomatic front of the resistance than the military front. Even the US army has like 10 people for every soldier fighting at the front.
