These are: Muraayed Garaad, President of the Somali Women Organization; Marian Yusuf, Vice President of the same Organization; Fadimo Ahmed Alin, the Assistant Minister of Higher Education and Culture; and Fadimo Isaq Beehi, the Director of the African Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Of the 14-member Somali Women Organization, eight are from the President's clan.
There are also seven Ambassadors who are either relatives or in-laws of the President; Sh. Abdulle H. Mohammed (Ambassador to Saudi Arabia), Ga'lbacadaire (Iraq), Dahir Yusuf Marehan (Libia), Abdisalam Mohammed (Algeria, Abdillahi Egal (India) belong to the President's clan. Mohammed Malingoor (Djibouti), related to the President by marriage; Mohammed H.
