I think people shouldn't air their dirty laundry in public aka keep it private...am pretty sure most boys know their sisters are chatting/dealing with people but there is need for it to be flaunted in their faces..

Obviously your sister is going to grow up and know about bois and stuff.

But I've seen girls who go off the handle and fukk up their lives...seen girls who do crazy shiizle...that is out of the diin and our somali culture.

But I have also seen girls in my college/work, that are hijaaban, very active in the diin, dont talk to know bois n stuff. (And dont say they r undercover, coz undercoverz r bait).

So there are two extremes.

The main thing is that your sister does not destroy her reputation and her family's reputation. i.e. self respect. There is an overwelming chance that she is going to talk to boys, and have them as friends, however the whole dating thing is prohibited (for my sisters anyway). This way shee keeps her respect and dignity, and the boy that she talks to will DEFINTELY respect her more when she makes that decision.

Because no matter what guys say, they always want a girl that hasn't been ''touched'' when they approach marriage. They dont want to marry there boy'z ex-s.

And you have to accept that your sister is going to married to a guy, but I would prefer her to marry a guy that respects her completely, and that she marries completely respecting herself during her life before marriage.
