Honestly, for peace to return to Somalia, Mohamed Dhere should construct check-points on all the roads entering the Bakhara markets and give 7 days to every business owner to vacate the market and then bomb the damn place to the ground. livelyhood.
Thats the logic of abgaal, it's hard to feel offended when people belittle Hawiye while the likes of these people are in abundance.

We all know that the same people who killed Mudulood people during the last years of the dictator regime to incite a Mudulood uprising are the same people who are behind the killings of Mudulood elders and professionals and business leaders. Funny how some-people never learn from history.
Well, to learn from history you should first know history.

Mudulood businessmen were the ones financing the overthrow of the oppressive regime. Mudulood men were the political leaders that started the political campaign against the oppressive dictatorship. We were on the first line of the uprising, no one incited us, as our leaders were leading the uprising.

Did you know that when the great halgamaa Ismaciil Jimcaale died and would be buried in Mogadishu, the oppressive regime denied the request for him to be burried in Mogadishu which incited a popular uprising?

It is beyond my comprehension why someone would discredit those brave men who had the audacity to stand up against one of the most oppressive military regimes in Africa, and mitigate their heroic struggle as mere ''assasinations to incite an uprising''.

Somaliweyn,

I've heard from very respectable, prominant, well known Abgal families the stories of Abgals being gunned down in Xamar by you know who, and they mentioned its something they'll never forget. I won't involve in you and Twisted's debate as I addmitingly might have a conflict of interest, but why deny facts if you wish to have an understanding? Why waste your time? :?

Somaliwayne,

One thing you need to realize that your history is very distorted and I have every-one reason to believe that it is not intentional. It is common knowledge that Mudulood were the last people to join the efforts to oust the dictator. Also, Mudulood people were very satisfied with the performance of the government as we had most of the administrative positions and our rights were very much intact. In fact, the regimes actions were mostly reactive to what the anti-state elements such as Aideed and Abdullahi Yusuf were doing.

Also, my father and other Mudulood people who I have talked to have all told me that, the regime was highly interested in making sure that the Mudulood people were allied to it. In fact, we supported it till the late 1980s. Also, HG and other anti-State elements failed to convince the Mudulood people to stand up and rise against the government, in fact their desperation forced them to wear government uniforms and kill innocent Mudulood people in Suuqa Xoolaha. In fact, some Sacad renegades come to our house right after the fall of the regime and said to my cousins and family members that they personally killed Mudulood people, because according to them “ that was the only way to make Mudulood people to join the resistance.” So get your facts right. It was after that fact, that Ismail Jimale and Hussein Bod and other Mudulood leaders (most who had family and business ties to HG) mobilized the Mudulood people and the rest is history. Funny how history repeats itself eh?

Ps
The Mudulood uprising against the regime was the single greatest miscalculation we have ever done, and the evidence is right in front of our eyes. Wake up and smell the coffee sxb!

I will admit though Abgal joining the USC did have a big affect. The hit and run night attacks from the areas they lived surrounding Xamar (Balcad, Afgoi) and other remote areas, were tough to deal with, along with the mass SNA desertions along clan lines. Ofcourse the financing aspect can't be ignored either.

Anyways Somaliweyn, funny how you talk about horribly oppressive rule, dictatorship etc. when the whole economy of Xamar was in the hands of Abgal, Murarsade to name a few. They were the richest group. Whether you chose to admit it or not, MSB opened doors for plenty of Hawiye. Doors that were not opened when Aaden Cadde (aun) was in power.

What really pisses me off is that some-people never learn from history. Somaliwayne actually believes only the anti-state elements can bring true salvation!
