garowegal YES i have! And i certainly do not love it more than i love EMMA or PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. But it is a good book too. I have a few characters i love in S & S. LOOOOL Its sad though that i didn't discover 'sensibility' (within myself) from reading it! BUt hey--there is good news-- i did discover 'sense' from reading it! :)[/quote]

Things Fall Apart - A classic and so relevant for Somalis.
One book that got me thinking was "Guns, Germs and Steel." Puts a lot of history into perspective.
