Better Names:

Wuuqoyi = The Democratic Republic of Somalia / Or North Somalia

Konfur = The Republic of Somalia / South Somalia


We can be like both the North and South Koreas or West and East Germany

no sheldibow, somalo stands for somali and not somalia in italian. for instance the now defunct Banca Credito Somalo meant Somali Central Bank.

gaalna dil gartiisana sii. heck I'm just gonna admit somalia is a colonial name too, it comes from Somalia Italiana.

But than again our leaders at the vanguard of our independance never named our young country Somalia, but the Somali Republic. That was the official name of our country back then.

Latin... is not italian... Italian is a direvitive of Latin... So are Portugese, French,Spanish, Romanian... all are romance languages which have there origin in Latin...

Russia, Croatia, Slovakia, etc are Slavic Nations.....

Many of these countries have been colonized by NON-Romance speaking nations... Some haven't ever been colonized..
