a good video!

muktaar, a woman needs to be educated and prepared in the event YOU, the MAN may be afflicted or dead.

madd scientist, you can have a career and a marriage life. Laakin if you aint ready dont get hitched.

However, marriage IS a sunnah and it is a form of 'ibadah i.e. worship and mucamala (interraction or transaction). It is HALF OF THE DIIN. Imagine that, marriage is half of your RELIGION. And it keeps you away from the dambi westerners do....

as salaffiyah said, women with status and cash is one thing....however as woman get older, men dont want them. Younger girls are always getting married. Ask yourself why? Also older men who are more established are more sought after, cause he presents stability.

If you are in your 30s, and you suddenly want to get hitched, it'll be harder for you than it would be for me. If I get to my 30s and have a career...I'm much more attractive to a prospective wife, I'm doing my duty of providing for myself and the potential for my whole family in the way my diin tells me to.

A woman's youth and beauty makes her attractive, while a guy's success and stability makes him more attractive. It isn't fair, but thats how the game is.

Its so cliche that the woman with the career and what not end up being lonely and what not when she gets older...and ends up fornicating with men to satisify her sexual desires. its the reality, im not saying it will happen to you, but something to think about

ya salaam :P
