Zulaika,

I can see why. The current age would rather dwell on facebook, somalinet rather than go to a solid house party that gets broken up by the cops or get into a riot after your team loses.

Who could forget the long road trips to Daytona Beach ?

If you're a gaal = Days and Nights of debauchery, Hedonism, Sex with learning in between. Meet new guys to get drunk with, meet new girls to shag. Overall, the best time of their pointless lives.

If you're a muslim = A pleasant but not that special period. You became an adult, Take control of your finances, education employment and chores. You become independent. You also see what xoolo gaaladu yihiin. Meet new people, possible future friends.

true that!

college is pleasant, i dont live on campus, but i know my share of folks
I come from a very conservative family, so i wouldnt know fun, if it sat on my face. But yeah it is a nice time where you have space to breathe. I think "Fun" is for when you are 7 yrs old, If your 19 and your still having "Fun", its time you acted your age or check into a mental Hospital - The Mentally Juvenile ward.
Navy,

Yes, the first year at Univ. of Nairobi was good until the riots.

Leila,

Did you go on Spring Break to Spain ? Or did you manage to attend those nice concerts on Campus ? I was able to see Tribe Called Quest, Naughty By Nature, Notorious BIG & Junior Mafia
I see.

My first year, i was clueless.
My second year i was a religious freak.
My third year i was a rebel.
My fourth year was boring.
