Somalis came here as refugees, Ghanians came here as economic immigrants. BIG difference. Only the elite of Ghana can make it to the West so they might be successful.

Brother Ironman ill tell u what the problem is..WELFARE STATE..how are the children going to be successful if they see their parents stretching their hand and begging for income support , housing benefit this and that..whatever country you go where somalis have no choice BUT to work so they can put food on the table..those communities are much better off socially...even now there are somalis coming from America/Canada and Europe for the 'free' goodies unfortunately. This culture starts in Somalia where the people there are used to getting money from their relatives who live abroad (I'm sure you all had those phone calls 'wax no so dira waan bakhtiyayna)..they then come to the UK and continue along the same pattern.
