In a literal sense, there are 3 races; Caucasoid, Negroid, and Australoid (Asian). Its tough to put Somalis in any of those boxes. Even anthropologists debate about this and have debated for the last century. Same goes for all the people in Eastern and Northern Africa.

Well thats because there is no Race called somali at all. Somali was never and cannot be a Race. Nationality Yes. We all are of different backgrounds who some how speak the same language and when it comes to tradition and culture , the anfar have the same. So in theory Somali= Nationality.

Somalia was born in 1960 and it died in 1969 after MSB started singling out all the PHD holders...Somalis, sxb, have always been on the run to find a peaceful place where they could lay their head...Am sure once Somalia experiences 200 years of peace like the USA and the likes everything will be possible but till then worry about becoming a PHD holder so you could be of use when their is peace in Somalia.

Actually the problem is Mudug (including Galgaduud too). The only people who fight that are from the south are Abgaal.

Everyone else is from Mudug. Habar Gedir, Majeerteen, Mareehaan, Mudug, Mudug, Mudug.
