Re: Maqaayad Scavengers:
People who complain about little thing like food scavenging must have money problems honest to god...Food is just food people, plus if someone takes the risk of humiliating himself like that you should learn to automatically assume that this is a person who is facing difficulty. Play it like a gentlemen and not some qaxooti who has been facing food shortage all their life lol

Murax,
If u are in Buugland, u would be charged with Argaxiiso.
If U are in Galmudug, u will be given the full of caads of hilib by saying u are from Gedo. We do our part to help the Starvin Marvins.

Transformer,
Walaal, there is a difference between sadaqa and basar-xumo.
Usually poor people are more giving than rich people....There are some cultures that need to be eradicated from our society, like:
" Bariiska uunbuu na siiyee, ma wax kaluu na siiyey"
People who housed/fed people in their homes, who paid everything for them, like elctricity, water, bedding etc were rewarded with.
" Bariiska uunbuu na siiyee, ma wax kaluu na siiyey"
Tell me how is it right for some one who refuses to work, to expect to have free meals paid by a person like his age who choose to work (Xamaal).. Just tell me walaal.?
I understand when the person is old or disable or even unable to work due to a barrier of some sort like language etc...

Murax,
You might have not heard about this but when it comes to food reer-Galkacyood share their food from one plate. They might be hard on each other but when it comes to food reer-Galkacyood are among the best to dine with.
Am sure AW will back me up on this...that is if he learns to leave the "qabiil" sh!t behind lol

Kambuli, sis, I agree with everything you said, but you have to understand scavenging in the Somali community isn't a daily reoccurring, people do it when their facing difficulty and when you see a brother who puts his dignity on the line as people here are describing...I mean I don't care how poor you, you should play it cool and learn to automatically assume the higher position.
With all do respect, am 100% against the idea of "eye glaring any potential scavenger down" which Abdiwahab describes.

Re: Maqaayad Scavengers:
how can another man you don't know take food off your plate while you're sitting right there? i'd let him finish the meal while im stretching and beat the shyt out of him after AND make him throw it all up
if it's someone i know but not tight with and they started eatin with me out of nowhere, i'd let them eat with me til the plates done and then split the bill half-half at the end...sheekadaas ma aqaani

Re: Maqaayad Scavengers:
Tanserormer on the money on this. If some hungry dude wants to share your food with you, don't be dhuuni and let him share it with you. freakin' low budget faraxs. I have never felt pissed about someone sharing my food with me. The only thing I don't like is when crazy farax rushes to the food and use his hands without washing them. I get disgusted and leave the whole food for them.
I love 'Sports'. I eat more when I eat with somebody
