I actually enjoy their talks, it can be pretty interesting sometimes. But I have favorites guests, I treat them extra especial when they come around.

One thing I hate is when they turn on me and suddenly the sheeko is about me :o Otherwise its nice having them around!

i agree with you, i like some guests more than others. but living britian, made me less somali walahi. i HATE people coming on certain days of the week. somedays when you busy and they just turn up. i like guests over all tho. because im not in your face kind of a person. just give em food and what they want, and go upstairs or another room.

back in the day, the longest time that it was me, brothers, sisters and parents alone in the house was 2 weeks. We always had guest who stayed for a long time. but that was the nature of my parents, open, giving and generally lookin out for fam. May Allah give them ajar.
