How is the jilbaab a newly invented attire when the mother of believers (Ummal-mu'mineen) used to wear it and even then they thought that it wasn't enough; they covered their faces when men would come around! The abaya along with the masar makes up the 'hijab', but the jilbaab is much better.
you counldnt have said better walahi. maasha'alah

Enlightened~Sista may allah enlighten yours and our hearts. walaalo you talk about islam, the hijaab the religion as if its a bad/forceful thing. once you get to know more about islam, the more you going to like. the reason the colour black become a dress code for muslim women its because prophet mohammed scw did say women shouldnt wear colour eye catching clothes. colours thatgive attention, and black seems the colour for that choice. somali culture is one thing and islam is another. now. if our culture doesnt fit with our religion, well we going to forget about our culture because it isnt as important as the religion. diracs are not hijaab and no girl/women should use them as a form of hijaab. thats plane joke walahi.
