May Allah guide them and us.I never did Mawlid and will never do it.
Mawlid came into existence during the abbasid dynasty. The Fatimids used to celebrate mawlid publically.
Sunnis copied shias and shias copied christians.

this is an endless battle, and the non-sufis never have an answer for calling it bidca....Dhikr has been going on since the day Islam began. you either agree or dont, but I dont think its right to call something Xaaram when no one has a valid answer for it.
