Anyone a fan of Van's wear and canvas sneakers?

Everyone is wearing them cadan wear nowadays, the US sure is becoming anti-Hip Hop and baggy cloth.

Mukhtaar be probably grinning by now with my anti-adoon remark there; mind sharing that Kodak moment buddy

I'm a slob, I wear what I have without thinking too much of it. Unless I'm making technical presentation for class or special occasions, I don't dress up and just wear a regular jeans and T shirt.

I totally agree, but you've got to understand the circumstances some of us are in; you probably know the situation in the West, Muslims din and breathe with such people on a day to day basis, and sticking out sometime could prove disasters. I've lived in the West from age seven and I have to say the mess Somalia is in is just prolonging our suffering since we all yearn to go there so we could escape this hell all together.

It sure is hard keeping a clear mind when there are so much distractions happing all around you. Some of you might be thinking then why not go to some Muslim country? Well, lets just think about it, given our ethnicity aren't we all just another "Abdi?" We are truly a society got in between a rock and hard place...If not the West there is not place we (Somalis) are treated with dignity then in our own country but it is messed up right now; All we could really do is pray that Allah aids both Somalia and us so we could maintain a clear mind in front of Allah.

Id like to think I dress my age. Sometimes thats not so easy. Most clothes are made for teen gils or older ladies. Sometimes I really have to search if I don't want to look like a kid.

I don't even pay attention to brand names and ish. As long as I got some good clothes on my back, I'm straight.

Ironically, I wore something similar that MJ put up there today also.
