[quote="zackabdul"]There were no "Black" prophets however it depends what you call Black. If dark Isralites are of their own race then yes, he wasn't black.

Btw, there was only one Arab Prophet and he was our last(pbuh).

walaalo there were four arab prophets, FOUR! forgot all the four names, but muhhamed (scw) was one of them, ill found out the other three. and the rest were israilist, thats why allah said the jews will be punished badly more than onyone, because allah said "we gave them more warnings than any human kind in the world" more warnings meaning, more prophets telling them about the right path, the heaven and hell, and the words of allah!

The hilarity of some in here is killing me  they act terrorized by the mention of a dark skinned prophet as if having a dark skin is sin or there was never a black prophet.

To clarify some confusion about prophets, messengers and their numbers, who came from who, Let us read the Quran:

Allah informs us he sent a prophet to every nation and community in the past without making a distinction between the nations referred to according to their colour and language.

"And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities, etc. i.e., do not worship Taghut besides Allah)." Then of them were some whom Allah guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth). (Qur'an 16:36)

Now the next point to clarify is, did Allah mention all prophets and messengers of the past? The answer is in anotehr verse, Some of these Messengers are mentioned in the Qur'an by Allah and some of them are not as the Qur'an says:

"And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad(P)); of some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their story, and it was not given to any Messenger that he should bring a sign except by the Leave of Allah. So, when comes the Commandment of Allah, the matter will be decided with truth, and the followers of falsehoodwill then be lost. (Qur'an 40:78) "

From the verse above, Allah informs his messenger Mohamed that some of the messengers sent before him were not mentioned while some were mentioned, so, we can't say there was no prophet who was black, brown, or yellow in the past, and we can't also quantify prophets and messengers since their numbers were not given in the Quran. the ehtnicy of the prophets mentioned in teh Quran serve no purpose at all as their mission was the same whether they be jews or Arabs or Non Arabs like Messenger Noah cs.

Laba xaraf intaa buug ka aqrisatiin meelahaan baroor hala soo fariisanina when a dark skined prophet is mentioned, some jews are as dark as yemenis and somalis, some of them are white looking. Arabs are considered dark skinned so are some hispanics and Indian tribes in the Andies.

waraada, wax hala barto.

It makes sense that Moses was dark, because Moses and his brother Harun's people were minority. Fircoon used to kill every male thats burn Moses minority people, untill Allah helped Muse destory Fircoon and his people. Since Fircoon was white, it makes sense that Moses being black

Sax!

Its also amazing how people can't fathom that a Nabi may have been dark skinned or reddish brown or something.

A prophet's race and skin colour is not important. If some want to feel special by associating prophecy and messengerhood with race and skin tone, they are lost.

As the verses of the Quran teach us, only a portion of prophets and messengers were mentioned while many where left unmentioned.

The jews think humanity is useless and all beings aside from them are of lesser value because God chose them over others. Let us not fall into the same trap and associate Allah's religion with race and skin tone. Allah doesn't favour a racial group among mankind.

PS: Gentile to the jews means all nonjews by birth and Arabs are included in the gentiles(this is for surrender)

Allah said himself in Qur'an ' Wa fadalaalu bacdakum libacth' thats why all Prophets came from Israel and Arab
