It would be an honour to be related to Nabi Isaxaaq , many Somalis are ignorant and forget the fact that the Jews were sent more prophets than any other people that we know of.

Mashallah indeed it would be an honour....but I think it's more impressive that I'm related to Nabi Adam (as) but mashallah you are too.

When a set of people are sent many messengers and prophets it's because their difficult people and keep reverting back to the old ways (which are mostly unislamic). And of course when prophet muhammed (pbuh) was sent most of the Jews rebelled, and showed their true colours. Religion is not about the prophet being a Somali, it's about worshipping Allah. They were not happy that the propeht (pbuh) was an Arab and not one of them. Lets not forget they also had a fondness for killing messenger and prophets too.

The Jews and their joint wanted to test the prophet mohammed by asking "why the Israelites went to Egypt" ? The Jews asked so because they knew that their story was not known to the Arab and that the prophet will not be able to answer them. But Allah swt revealed the story of prophet Yusuf through Surah Yusuf and the prophet recited it putting them into silence.
