I've never heard my parents swearing. Although they some times speak in Arabic when they get angry :|

Speaking of cursing or swearing parents....

There was once this mom who was so angry with her son and she said" Shaydaan ku qaaday"

Then someone asked the shaydaan, why he is not taking the boy as his mom wanted that...
Then the shaydaan said " Wait, I am sure she does not mean it...You will see"

After few min. the mom says" Hooyo, Ilaahay hakaa xijaabo balaayao"...

Then the shaydaan said " Well, that is what I was telling you, they never mean it" :lol: :lol:

My grandmother when she wants me to wake up say's "sleepers be aware the awaken will get ahead of u'. Now translate that to somali. :lol:
