and then what? somaliweyn being the promised land, the utopia is a myth son, get that through your foking skull. it's just another situation with another set of problems looming at the horizon, possibly even worse.
All Myths are born of a need to quench a communal thirst, spiritual deficiency or a psychosis.

To be so bold as to crush a myth prior to it being lifted out of the imagination is rather a harsh act indeed hold your horses on this one let thier be flight...

The higher the number of varriables the lower the possibility of a quick solution. I say increase the varriables why not begin a new campaign: to unite the whole Horn of africa into a single country???

I'll say Never

we will never have a state of Somalis reaching from Djibouti to Wajir....NEVER!

we can't even make a government in Xamar, and we still have this illusion

we sell our fellow Somalis to Ethiopia

get the hell outta here

you're much more likely to make a big super state of Muslims elsewhere

I don't have faith in the Somaliweyn ideology. It causes more harm than good. It diverts our attention away from taking care of our problems in Xamar and surrounding areas.

Whilst you waste all your energy in being negative, others will continue to have faith & patience & exhaust all their energy in order to make the impossible a reality.

No. The Somaliweyn ideology doesn't affect what's happening today. That ideology is a longterm goal.

When it comes to Somalia, you have to expect the worst. Cause thats all there fukkin is. How can you change anything when you have to kill people to do it? All it is continuing sagas of civil wars in different shapes. Clan wars, Skirmishes, Factional, Ideological battlegrounds...

All the good is from 30+ years ago.

I don't have faith in the Somali people of today.

It's better to expect the worst, but still hope for the best.

The Somali people Ilahay aa uu gargaarayo Insha-Allah. You might have given up on them, but I'm sure Allah (swt) hasn't - because He hears & responds to the cries of the oppressed.

When the hypocritical leaders & those who seek to oppress the innocent civilians are eradicated - then Somalia will see peace & prosperity Insha-Allah.

I tried to post an image that gives a good explanation to why I have no faith in Somalis but it ain't seem to be working.

Every prosperous nation, it's people sacrificed and even gave away their lifes so that their country and countrymen could get forefront in life. Just look at people of other nations, it's people are proud of their forefathers and are willing to do whatever it takes to leave a proud legacy, superior structure and heritage for generations to come.

Somalis are self-centered and voracious, unless there are some of us who are willing to forfeit their time, sweat, blood and even lifes for the greater good of our nation, there is no hope for Somalia.

We are all sitting around here talking, in our comfortable little way of lifes and not doing a damn thing to change or try to change the condition in our country; remember all those people who changed the world were run of the mill, everyday indivituals.

Of course Allah SWT hears them, dont you think Allah will reward those who believe in him during those times of hardship.

However, Allah SWT makes clear that the state of a people doesn't change until they change themselves.

Somalis globally haven't. We have swaths of kids outside of the country more qabiliste than their parents and grandparents.

And we're supposed to be the ones who go back, eh......

We have people who fund the violence...in the WEST...

Somalis are done.

I am normally a half-full type of person, I am normally an optimist. But sometimes, I just think...Somalis won't ever change. And they just get WORSE.

I'm proud of my youth who stick to their roots and don't discriminate and uphold everything...
