If Somaliland comes back to fold of Somaliweyn, then by all means, they are entitled to get their share of the pie, laakiin, if Somaliland want to go away, we have no obligation to give them anything

If Oil is ever discovered, there will have to be a Central Government to sign off on it and support the export of the oil.

Consider this, what prevents Ethiopia from demanding a huge tribute to be paid ? Puntland is in no position to say no.

Also no credible foreign corporation is going to invest millions and millions of dollars in a nation that has NO credible central government, effective national institutions, no legal courts and no national security services.

Cadde will become a powerful force if they give the kid more time which A/Y did but Maakhir still has a window of opportunity if they follow in Cadde steps and secure their resources for their people. Or the result will be militias vs Range if they attempt to touch our soil. This is great for both PL and Maakhir indirectly, if development occurs in that region, oil discovered more private foreign investment will reach the region.

What about Kurdistan? An autonomous region that does its own drilling. And they make a fat profit too.

Are you saying the South and Somaliland will attack Garowe for getting their oil? I know all puntlanders are part of this process
MJ no it doesn't mean it will happen their either but at this point in time Somalia and Puntland are weak and fractured.

Cadde Muse right now already sucks money from Puntland for his own personal benefits, do u think him or anyother greedy politician will stop because there is oil. No they will just suck more money.

This will be even worst as people see the money flow and will get hostile as some get rich while they stay poor.

Without a stron central government this oil deal looks like disaster.

Its not somethin I am wishing for Puntland but the evidence is in the history, in Sudan, Nigeria, Congo, etc. where the root of the conflict is oil.

We should know by the end of this year if Puntland is sitting of billions of dollars of oil or not.

Something tells me it is or why else would a company invest $50 millions just on drilling?

Your TFG charter says the natural resources of the territory reaching the Red Sea (Saylac) all the way to the southern tip is for all Somali people.

Nicca sit down with your clannish bullshid.

But big ups for the oil, I wish drilling happened in the 60s before the kacaan closed off the economy. My awoowe was a part of a few expeditions.
Fah

But whose here to stop us? AW and the likes can calaacal all they want, but what can they do? Nothing. There is no such thing as Somalinimo, if you want the oil there's many other ways you can get it, and it's not politically.
