Both of them were responses to allegations he made. In regards to much of what he was saying he seemed like he knew little of what he was talking about. And the other point if you go and re-visit what wrote you would also see that it was a response to his submission that the environment we came-up in was not proper.

I agree with 1nemansquad, thsi place was much different back then, more "intellectual juice," more meaningful debates, even qabiil topics were presented in such a way were the likes of mj-pride/yalaxoow could not engage in them.
