When i said There are in the Middle East i didn't mean they are all Arab...look at Shiekh Albani Rahimahullah, He was from Albania and the Greatest Scholar of our time, he was the great reviver of hadith Mashallah and May Allah grant him Jannah.

When i posted the fatwa i was trying to make a point

As for Bilal Phillips there are errors in His usool;

Sister these people are not even qualified to give fatwa let alone be Ulemas
Be careful who you take your knowledge from Ukhtii.

Sister Dhers fatwa is from a noble scholar, and the rulings derived from this is similar to what the sister was asking....like it or not this is Islam, imagine you get that a degree in something that demands that you have to be there 24/7, how will you put it to use when you settle down... as for the subjects the honorable Ulema mentioned they eventually lead to things like bio medical etc which a woman realistically cannot do until all her kids are grown up.

Yes we are sadly living in a kuffar world ukhtii, but we have means to avoid the haram, and free-mixing is haram, there is no harm upon you to go out and do your shopping as that is a necessity but as for doing things from your own desires (this could be to build a career) then this will clash with your role as a muslim woman.

This is not my opinion but that of the Ulema.

As for grave sin of free-mixing then read this inshallah as it is too long to post;

As for the admin's keeping an eye on me...what for sister?
Am i inciting the people to go kill other people, verily truth becomes clear from Error.

Ukhtii Dhers Jazakalhu kahyr for you kind advice.
Are you saying people who studied for years and years (most in the MUSLIM WORLD) are not qualified to give a fatwa, just because they were born in the West? Or lived here for many years?

Thats still incorrect. For sake of argument, BILAL PHILLIPS...lets say his intention is pure to correct the innovators...how can you say he is incorrect for trying to engage with the people and bring them back to the true way of tawhiid?

Scholars are not infallible either, they all are prone to mistakes even the ones who study in the Middle East.

[quote="Enlightened~Sista"]lets see HOW MANY PEOPLE AGREE WITH YOU..AS IT IS..HARDLY ANY AGREE WITH YOUR VIEWS HERE lol that says a LOT ..people who have your KIND OF EXTREME VIEWS ON ISLAM ARE FEW..MOST MUSLIMS DONT THINK LIKE YOU ALHAMDULLILAH

AS IT IS..HARDLY ANY AGREE WITH YOUR VIEWS HERE lol that says a LOT ..people who have your KIND OF EXTREME VIEWS ON ISLAM ARE FEW..MOST MUSLIMS DONT THINK LIKE YOU ALHAMDULLILAH[

This is my problem with the Salafi sect..toooooooooooo extreme.<<-----/quote]

I agree with sis UponSalafiyyah. Doing degrees like midwifery etc are better for you.

BRZ/SRZ know that Haraam is a BIG word! We need to have proof inshAllah next time.

Anyway when Enlightened_sista said that salafi's are extreme, walahi sister thats what I thought b4, but when you read more and learn more about your religion then your views will change. They (salafis) try to live like the way of the salaf (1st three generations of Islam) and its best that we imitate them as we will be with those that we imitate inshAllah!

Dont be ignorant and blind! Us sisters dont have to work our priority is da home n children (If Allah blesses us with them). There is nothing wrong with us working but the money we earn is ourz! Im not being selfish but the way you guyz make sisterz sound is as if they are the sole-breadwinners! CHILL OUT!

We should hold tight on to our religion even though it may be hard, this is all a test remember!

Also about Yasir Qadhi and Towfiq Choudry I think they are really good spearkers and I learned a lot from them but I also seen on a website that they had pledged upon falsehood.

Allahu 'alim about them but we need to be careful who we learn from as everyone has different views and interpretations.

Sista, I dnt think you read what I wrote properly I said it is BETTER FOR US not that we ALL should be doing midwifery! SubhanAllah!

Obviously in most circumstances we can not avoid working around men but with jobs like this you are actually working WITH women and what is wrong with that? It is better for you at the end of the day.

We need more sisters doing these sort of jobs anyway...

Do whatever you want I'm not saying we ALL have to do midwifery sis, its your choice.

UponSalafi, SubhanAllah you nor I can make a strong state that someone has deviated from the path of Allah, particularly someone of knowledge. Allah knows best what thier hearts conceal. Sister remember that in these situations almost every Sheikh or Scholar in the west has been disputed with because they are seen as 'modernising the deen' when in actual fact what they are doing is acknowledging conditions and situation of a western-life. Like I said someone living in the west and someone living in the middle east will be exposed to different lives, fitna and fatwa. They are all upon the Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamaah ..Even Abu Usama, who is also a strong Salaf is often critized hardcore by the same group.

SubhanAllah.. I refuse to contribute to this discussion any futher as it has moved on to slandering one another and many people who I personally feel are much beloved to Allah for thier outstanding work in the west. & May Allah reward them for that. Aameen.
So sister and anyone else whom I may have offended forgive me!

Sister The Ulema's have refuted these people. its not because they are modernising the deen that we are against them its because their aqeedah is not that of Ahlul Sunnah...the Ulema's always give fatwa regarding the times we live in, and remember sister the fatwa regarding the dunya expire depending on what has changed since they were published.

There might be 'shiekhs' bue no Ulema's in the West as in order to be an Ulema you must be appointed by the other Ulema who know you and whom you have carefully studied under for years and years, one does not become an Ulema by merely graduating from Medina University.

Sister what i have written about the likes of Bilal Phillips is not slandering as this falls under one of the 6 categories of permissible backbiting as legislated by the Sharia and explained by Shiekul Islam Ibn Taymiyya (Rahimuhu'Allah) in his book, 'The consequences of the Tongue'

So when warning people of those who have deviated from Siratul Mustaqeem this become permissble like the case of a woman going to the Ulema to complain about her husband in his absence.

Inshallah haq has become clear of falsehood and there is no reason to write more pages about this subject as we know the role of the muslim women and anyone in doubt go buy the book 'fatwa regarding women' or read up in hadith, Quran and benificial books inshallah.

One good book is 'My advice to the muslim woman' By Umm Abdillah wahdiyya residing in Dammaj mashallah this sister is very knowledgeable.

Its sad that a lot of the youth do not understand the Salafi Dawah inshallah here are a few websites;

http://www.spubs.com
http://www.troid.org
http://www.salaf.com
http://www.salafitalk.net

and here is an intro to the dawah;
http://www.qss.org/articles/salafi/text.html

Inshallah let this be the end as this issue is one that is legislated by Allah and his Messenger Sallahu'Alyesalam, sister our home is best and if we are forced to work then inshallah strive to work in halal conditions and make dua for Allah to give you something better and have patience.

Ulhtii I personally haven't refuted these people but the Ulema's so inshallah do not take from them as they have deviated....subhanna'Allah even a student of Sheikh Albani Rahimahullah deviated from the straight path so it just goes to show that anyone can deviate if they don't guard themselves.

Inshallah I'll be posting good topics like the manners of the Muslim woman etc soon, and inshallah there will be no arguing in this post as that is not good and one should never question our Beloved Prophet Sallahu Alyewasalam.

As for Enlightened sista...ukthii i worry about you...you seem so full of hate, if you do not agree do not viciously attack people as only you will get the punishment for it, and inshallah i recommend you go and study this deen before making wild statements that are frankly not islamic and has no basis in the sharia or Islam.
Know dear sister i will not be replying to your posts only correct you if you post something which might mislead people and inshallah i'll make dua for you and all my sisters and brothers in islam for Allah always to keep us on the straight Path and grant US jannah inshallah.

UponSallafiyyah is a member of the Salafi sect led by Shaykh Rabii Al Madhkali

iska jirra ..they have very extreme views they are very intolerant towards women and nonmuslims...as well as intolerant towards any other Muslims who doesnt agree with their beliefs.

They are a minority sect(less than 3%) the majority of the Ummah are Ahl Al Sunnah wal Jamaah i.e they dont deviate from the majority..

Stick with Mainstream Islam then you're ok...avoid all these little sects..

http://www.salafitalk.net/st/viewmessag ... N=48253402

Inshallah i will soon posts a list of Ulema we should take from and students of Knowledge.

DO NOT INSULT Shiekh Rabee for what you utter has evil consequences... slandering the Ulema is like eating poison as The Prophet Sallahu Alywasalam said.

May Allah forgive you and i Forgive you ukhtii.

Salafi's are only led by Allah and The Prophet sallahu'Alyewasalam...Alhamduliah.
