He has said he want to stay in power for the good of Darood

You can write what you want but don't lie about the Siyad. Siyaad was a Somali first and foremost, if e cared about "Daroodnimo" or silly tribalism he would not have targeted SSDF first and foremost which we can all agree was a Darood movement. He crushed it and put it down successfully.

How could such a patriot who crushed his own clan because of the greater good of Somali now be disrespected by the same clansmen he crushed on grounds he was tribalistic and tried to get clan support from them?

Like I said...broken record.

I don't deny the negative aspects of Siyaad's government but I really don't reply to simpletons. It is one of my principles and one with an androgynous nick of all things.

Guys,

Argue as much as you want ..to the point of nauseating..but certain facts cannot be denied..

Again..this is my view how history will look down on his legacy MSB that is..

From 1969-1977...> A great hero, a patriot and a good leader.

From 1978 - 1986...> A man who had some good ideas coupled with many bad ones..

And from 86-91?? A dictator who did everything to cling to his post..no matter what the consequence..
Excpet that he didnt destroy Xamar..in his final days..he lest that legacy to the Hutus.

So provided that only Allah is the supreme JUDGE..lets not be partisan and try to judge the man for what he has accomplished,
what mistakes he has made..and whomever came after him..how they dealt with the situation at hand!!!
