There are many western countries to choose from my people. I don't understand people who adopt the cultures of other nations and then not be content with that but attempt to import those cultures to the nations who cultures they have neglected in past completely.

We're Muslim and the society is one that is bound by our religion. Over the past 20 years, Somali society has changed so that wearing Western clothes is pretty much taboo....especially with the country being in a civil war.

In other parts of the Muslim world it is a similar occurrence happening. Fourty to Fifty years ago in places such as Egypt...a woman wearing hijab was more rarer than it is today by a long shot...

I don't see why people say the women are "ninjas" or wearing a "big tent"...as long as they cover for the sake of Allah, thats all that should matter and we shouldn't be ones to doubt intentions just based on the few people you may have seen that don't pray or fast or w/e.
