Do you know for a fact that i'm making this up? Do you know for a fact that i'm trying to "demonize/ridicule", as you put it, the somali sisters who wear niqaab?

There are a lot of things you do not know about me, so again stop making assumptions.

I know for a fact that you're trying to "demonize/ridicule" niqaabi sisters, because there has never been reported a niqaabi sister who refused to show her face to her future husband. Even hyperactive, who was born and raised in a country where many sisters wear niqaab, was surprised at your story. I'm sure hyperactive has never heard or read about such an incidence. I bet no one has ever heard or read about a story like yours. Also, many posters have cast doubt at your story; at a guy who would still marry his future wife who wouldn't show her face to him. If you have an issue with the niqaab, niqaabi sisters of conservative Muslims, spit it out. There are many posters here who are openly against or dislike the niqaab, niqaabi sisters or conservative Muslims.

First of all walaal, if i ever had or have anything against niqaabi sisters believe you me i would spit it out. I fear no-one but Allah. My own brothers are married to somali women who wear the niqaab and i have the outmost respect for them Mashallah. Secondly I would appreciate it if you did not involve Hyper in this conversation, this is between you and me. Thirdly, If you go back to my first opening line it clearly says " I heard a funny story today" (in Cairo).... Just as you and everyone else who has made a comment, I was surprised as to why this girl would not show her face. That is the reason why I made this thread in the first place.

Haddad i think you misunderstood brother.
i also did in the beggining.
maddy isnt against the niqaab as i understood but this perticular sister's and the guy who wants to go ahead and marry anyways.

the title maybe for reader's attraction.
if she was against niqaab she wouldnt say: mashallah
so she considers it good if that was wore in the right reasons.
i also never heard an issue woman refuses her husband to be to see her.
it's most seen the face at least as prophet stated when he asked one of the sahabis
did you see her and he said no, prophet asw said go see her.

Madd_Scientist_ wrote:I heard a funny story today... It's about this guy who lives in Cairo, he's getting married soon Inshallah to a girl who wears niqaab. Only thing is he's never seen her face, he hasn't got a clue what she looks like.... He's asked her to remove it so he'll be able to see her face, but the girl refused point blank saying "The only time you'll see my face is when we get married".
:
Thats enough to warant a cancelation.

"The only time you'll see my face is when we get married". He should have told her...and the only way i'll get between those sheet is when i know what am geting myself into.
