wallahi, murax is right for once.
i, too, can't believe that i've wasted my time with this shid called "somali politics" (i.e. clan politics) - for an entire year - all because i wanted to learn a bit about my heritage. a big mistake - and how! first there's the never ending lies masqueraded as "history", then there's the never ending hatred and alliances for no obvious reasons, etc - after all that shid the only thing you're left with is utter confusion and uselessness. i feel all dirty and in need of a cold shower now.
the thing that kills it for me is, prior to my newfound interest in all things somali, i'd just come off a very productive year as far as knowledge goes - i.e. actual, useful knowledge. i focking curse the day i decided to take interest in my heritage - nothing good has cometh from that most regretful day. one bad thing lead to another badder thing. heck, i'm foking typing in this dump right now because of that faithful day in my life. in retrospect, i wished that i had remained oblivious to clan politics; or, however, at least had not taken an active interest it. qashin foqol qashin. hey, at least i've learned a bit of af-somali, e.g. laangab... something marehan are.
