Mogadishu is a ghost town now which costs billions of dollars to rebuild, why do people even still care about it?
We need a new capital to start from scratch and bomb that place

Hargeisa

Bosaso looks better then Hargeisa man and could become a tourist destanation with all its beauties.
Hargeisa is just a big city in the middle of an arid area with scrub trees, Bosaso has crystal clear blue water, white sandy beaches, nice mountains, springs and much more
I been to both cities so I can tell

abdi ilyas,
Non sense 90% of these guys are all Arabs , its in every islamic history books that Moqdisho was founded by Persians/Arabs no Hawiye was ever mentioned in early history of Mogdisho, by in 9.A.D 99% of Hawiye were still pagan , in in early 1700 the Hawiye came o Mogdisho, all Arab geographers, Ibn Mascuud, Ibn Said, Al Umari and Al-Yacqubi all stated that Mogdisho was foreign founded and majoriy Persian/Arb till the 1400.
First time ever Hawiye was mentioned was by Al Idiriisi in 1196 saying that they were naked and pagen and brought goods to Mogdisho but were never allowed to settle.

I actually agree with X Playa though. Black Zoomalis were not allowed in Mogadishu until the Coloniol Powers really took root. Thats When the Abgal were put to work in the city doing hard labour.

History of Xamar...Arabs discovered it, Italians built it, Siad polished it, Hutus destroyed it. There's your history.

Bossaso is very nice but is at one edge of the country. Something in the middle that all Somalis wouldn't have to travel very far too would be most ideal. I identified Garowe and Hargeisa and I think Hargeisa is a better choice.
