I'm think of moving to Dubai for work, they pay well for people with western degree's.

Higher pay and NO TAX and cheaper life especially OIL and CARS.

And everyday sunny weather, why would one live in Europe or the Americas?

And Somalia nearby you can get a roundtrip to Bosaso for only 300 dollars.
Yea I'm seriously thinking about it, dubai is known as the las vega of middle east though. An arab freind was telling me, that's where all the rich saudi's come to party.

What industry is your family involved in? real estate?

Dubai used to be Saudi pimp ground (pre-2005), but now it became entire Middle East/South Asian pimp ground where the rich of the entire region come.

My father immigrated to the Emirates around 1965 as an engineer, got his citizenship in the 80s (now its virtually impossible to get one as a foreigner), he worked/lived there until 2000 and then left to Africa (Ethiopia, Djibouti/Somalia) and does big business there.

Our family just live off his money (a shit load)

You're dad must've been one of the early somali's to move to the gulf, there were a lot of somali's that moved to gulf countries in the 80's, mostly isaaq running away from barre. And yea I hear it's impossible to get citizenship there now.

Emirati nationality is one of the best shit in the world man

You get a free villa when you marry.

Thanks to Emiratisation, employers have to HIRE a certain amount of citizens, so you always have a job and usually get paid higher than other nationalities.

A dumb incompetent Emirati might make more money than a hard working smart Indian/Iranian
