You think a single digit boost after an end to GOP convention is a lead? yikes

yep but im not concerned, the polls dont show the grassroots campaign and voter registration

if Obama can win all the Kerry states from 04 (such as Pennsylvania and Michigan which is likely) and also win Iowa, New Mexico and Colorado....he has the election in the bag

he doesnt need Florida, Ohio, or Virginia

The Republicans are most likely going to win all the states they won in 04. The Obama campaign is betting on dead horse in Colorado and N.Mexico

Not really, he also has a good lead in New Mexico and Iowa

Colorado hes up 1 point

McCain is only up 1-2 in Ohio and VA...

Obama just needs the ball to bounce his way

alluring is not about debating on issues, experience or things that matter in this election. I now see a future in which candidates choose VPs that appeal more to voters than VPs that are the most qualified. Obama chose Biden to silence the experience criticism, but now no one really cares about Biden because he was more of a one day/week thing. Had he chosen Hilary, most of the Democrats would have voted for him and McCain probably wouldn't have chosen Palin(her feminine side couldn't come close to the feminine impact of Hilary) and the Republic convention would have been super boring without her.

What does she honestly bring that John McCain doesn't have? Experience? People pay more attention to how she speaks than what she speaks. I feel that people did that with Obama a lot too. If he had chosen Hilary, you can't argue against a lady that had been in the White House for 8 years, that's tons of experience right there. Quite honestly I feel that McCain is going to win and everyone will learn a valuable lesson when they find out that Palin doesn't really do much. That's my opinion, that might not happen. What do you guys think?

Let me tell you how politics work:

Let us say, the DNC picked Hillary as the nominee, the Republicans and McCain would have picked Jindal who happens to be a person of color. Obama could not have picked Hillary by any means, why? Because you can not have two demographics that cause great debate in a society, both a black man and a white WOMAN on a ticket would cause enormous speculation and backlash in the MSM. Obama would have been targeted as an inexperienced candidate who needed Hillary in order to attract votes, and his slogan for change would be undermined, since Hillary has been in politics for nearly 35 years. The Republicans had more on Hillary than they have on Obama, remember she is married to Bill. Palin is getting all of this attention, because people do not know who is she...a mystery. They want to know about her, and what she is about. Sooner than later, the media will fall out of love with her.

amm..NO! After Biden toastes her in the VP debates, her so called " rock-star" status will be gone.

I'm concerned about Snet's diehard Obama supporters. It will be very difficult for some to accept Obama losing. I only hope none will commit suicide.
