Let's be real, it aint easy to live off one income in the west, so you ladies better work and contribute if you want a comfortable lifestyle.

Personally, if my man can provide for our needs and wants...I shouldn't be working outside of the house...pleasing him would be my full responsiblity N taking care of the kids...but if he can't, waa inaa salka dhulka ka qadaa...

Keep this in mind people:

Of course NEEDS come first:
House (bills), food (no food stamp),
Cars (no down-payment-may-be Haram)
Top of the line furnitures (the house gotta look nice-igu arag nooh)
Shopping...kids grow out of clothes pretty fast...
Shopping for for her!! A must :D
Monthly check for the retired parents...waa'in laga duceestaa!! :D

WANTS:

Vocations every now and then!...at least once a year...
More shopping for her...
Spa treatments every once in a while..

etc etc



If he can handle ALL my (our) wants and needs...then I would gladly stay @ home :mrgreen:

You can balance both it aint that hard, couple of my friends that got married are juggling both walahi, with the support of their husbands n family u can have it all..its a challenging and a demanding role but u can cope..just because u are mother doesn't mean that u have to give up on ur ambitions
