Grouping the Muslims on tribalistic lines is clearly forbidden. It is narrated by Abu Daud that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "He is not one us who calls for `Asabiyah, (nationalism/tribalism) or who fights for `Asabiyah or who dies for `Asabiyah."

Sir Luggoyo,

People who join sects are usually the ignorant, people with low intelligence & those with self-steem issues that feel they must belong to some type of a franternal brotherhood to feel better about themselves.

Often times these sects have charismatic leaders who know all the key notes to say and all the simple-minded flock to them in herds. I've seen grown men abandoning their families just to be with their sects, it can leave major marks in a society.

there is no different between salaf-jadiid and takfiiri... dhaqankooda waa isku mid

Alhamdulilah, I am a salafi. There is no such thing as "Salafi Jadiid". Its either your a Salafi or someone that is a pretender, meaning he might say i believe in the minhaj of the salaf but doesn't come with the action and belief.

Haa, waa dhaqankooda! They insult Sh. Umal, Cumar Faarooq, Shariif C/Nur and all the others, because their sect members say those scholars are "ahlul bidca" yet they fail to provide any evidence of how these men are commiting bidca.

So, worshiping obesse Kings who support the slaughtering of Muslims was the actions of the Salaf? Lying about Muslim scholars and calling them "Barking dogs" and "Howling monkeys" as was the case with Sh. Qardawi was the way of the Salaf?

let me ask you a question. weren't there corrupt rulers back in the days of the salaf. As you know Imaam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, was impriosed and beaten just for his beliefs. The Ruler during his time was a Mu'tazilah. The Ruler believed the Quran was created. This was a statment of Kuffr. guess what Imaam Ahmad said when he was being beaten, "Oh, Amir rul Mumineen, the Quran is not a Creation but the speech of Allah" He didn't make takfir and start instigating the people against the Ruler. No he had patience because he was someone with knowledge of the Shari'a. so read the books of the salaf.

AS,

You did not answer my question! You claim to be the ONLY followers of the Salaf, yet your members act nothing like the Salaf. In fact, your sect members act the opposite of the Salaf i.e. you fabricate lies about Muslim scholars you do not like e.g. Sh Umal, whom your sect members edited his audio lectures and sent to Yahya Hajoori in Yemen, who then issued a fatwa insulting Umal and calling him "Ignorant Bidca commiter who no one should listen to..."

Then there was Sh. Qardawi whom your "Sheikhs" called a "Barking dog" and many others including Bilal Philips whom you refer to as the "Howling monkey" Is this the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw) and his companions?

Qardawi is an innovator. All the scholars have warned against this guy. Shaikh Muqbil wrote a book called" silencing the howling dog". Qaradawi twists the religion. Qaradawi is the one who said I have a favorite female singer and also its halaal to look at a female in the tv. Also Qaradawi ask Allah to bless the Pope. Anybody that praises the Pope to me is worse than a Howling dog. I can't believe your defending this chief innovator. This shows you who your scholars are.

AS,

Sh. Qardawi graduated from Al-Azhar, spent 40+ years studying & teaching the religion, how long have you studied it? You think just because your sect's "Sheikhs" disagree with him, it entitles you to call him "Howling Dog"? This is arrogance & pride:

It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ood that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "No one in whose heart is a mustard seed's worth of pride will enter Paradise." A man said, "What if a man likes his clothes and his shoes to look good?" He said, "Allaah is Beautiful and loves beauty. Pride means disdaining the truth and looking at people with contempt."

(Narrated by Muslim, 9)

Why not privately tell the Sheikh to reform his ways and conceal his mistakes as was the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw)? Instead, each member of your sect acts as if they're the most knowledgeable scholars issuing fatwas, condemning and insulting everyone who isn't a member. I hope you realize this is an ugly practice.

AW,

As long as they don't busy the people with their rituals e.g. siyaaro, mowliid, calling out to dead men, etc. I got no beef against them. Sh. Hamza Yusuf is one of my favorite scholars and he's Sufi. I take what I agree with and leave the rest alone.
