Mandera has no garre population. They just moved there recently from all over the area from moyalle to ceelwaaq because they believe the land Mandera sits on belongs to them traditionally since Muralle arrived in the region about 50 years ago from Hiiraan. And yeah they are a small subclan of a lesser known clan called Jiidle. They are all supposed to be hawiye since 1991.

I hope they come to an agreement soon and stop the machete fighting its barbaric and they have taken on the traits of the bantu nation they are part of.

Off topic, but I felt sorry to see that Somali lady speaking af swahili and the kenyan Somali MPs. Why don't they fight for their freedom like the somalis in ethiopia? these are a conquered people.
